We’re not unaccustomed to car manufacturers launching branded products, and Christmas time always sees an increase in the release of non-motoring products to fill the stockings of owners and brand-dedicated enthusiasts. It’s all part of a €215 million investment that’ll see Europe’s most famous race track build on its uber track day reputation to become what marketing boss Stephan Cimbal describes as a motorsport theme park that’s open 365 days a year.
Mini USA has confirmed that it will bring a limited number of the John Cooper Works World Championship 50 to the U.S. market after all. Previously, the company said that it would produce 250 of the hatch-based special editions and distribute them only in Europe.
